TomTom 1.5: A preview of all the details on the next version of navigation software for iPhone
Do you like this story?
This morning we have reported the excellent discounts for all TomTom navigation software for iPhone and now inform you that the company decided to serve in sight to a new update to version 1.5 that will arrive soon in the AppStore and that will substantially improve the application on the iPhone 4.
Among the new features it will have a high-resolution graphics, more detailed maps, menus become more responsive and will be improved the accuracy of its position, especially in areas where the GPS signal is not strong.
This new version will bring also a nice feature that they decided to call "surf-to-photo". As you can easily guess, we choose to navigate to a destination to be set automatically by reading geo-tag of an image taken with the iPhone and then present in the photographic film.
As you know it, the camera application always requires us to use the automatic location where we are going to take a picture. In this way, the file is saved data and coordinates of where we made the photo. Just by reading this data you can navigate to the same destination by a single click in the TomTom.
