55% of mobile ads are displayed via an iPhone

According to data recently published by Millennial Media, a large network that specializes in mobile advertising, 55% of advertisements on the smartphone are displayed through an iPhone.
The report of the company in question reveals that Apple and its iPhone hold the majority of mobile ads. Following other companies like Samsung (17%), RIM (10%), Motorola (9%) and HTC (7%).
As you can see, the difference is quite large and serves mainly to underline the dominance of Apple in the consumer electronics market.
